Development of a new high‐speed train load model for dynamic calculation of railway bridges

Abstract Dynamic calculations of train crossing railway bridges must be carried out in Europe accordance with current valid standards for both new and existing bridges. The high‐speed load model (HSLM) trains to used are defined the Eurocode, denoted as HSLM‐A1 ‐A10. In near past, results gained from these dynamic have shown, that HSLM do not cover bridge vibration response level certain real operating trains.
